Pickup & Pricing

Daily booking analysis — immediate price reaction.

What is Pickup & Pricing?

The pickup shows you daily how quickly your rooms are filling up — and whether the current pricing is right. I take over the daily analysis and proactively adjust your prices. No revenue potential remains unused.

Pickup analysis is the most important daily revenue-management discipline. It measures how many bookings have come in for each future date in the last 1, 7, 14 and 30 days — and benchmarks the result against last year and against the current forecast. Only this daily cadence allows fast reactions before revenue is permanently lost.

In practice, every morning the next 90 days of business are reviewed. Where pickup is too slow, prices are dropped, restrictions loosened or additional channels activated. Where pickup is too fast, prices are raised or minimum-stay rules introduced — to avoid selling the date out far too early at far too low a price.

This discipline requires routine, sharp attention to data and experience with edge cases like events, school holidays, industry congresses or short-notice weather swings. Hotels that outsource pickup and pricing gain not just revenue — they also reclaim time their own team can spend on guests, operations and strategy.
