Outsourced Revenue Management

Your complete revenue management — outsourced to professionals.

What is Outsourced Revenue Management?

RevenueRise takes over your complete revenue management: pricing strategy, daily price management, forecasting, reporting and distribution. You benefit from 15+ years of experience — without permanent employment, without fixed costs.

An outsourced revenue manager performs the same function for your hotel as an in-house revenue manager would: daily pricing decisions, weekly pace reviews, monthly forecasts, channel strategy, OTA negotiations and reporting to general management. The difference is structural — you buy the function in as a monthly retainer rather than through a permanent hire.

For independent hotels and small hotel groups, this is often the only economically viable way to operate professional revenue management at all. A full-time in-house role costs CHF 90,000 to 130,000 per year once payroll taxes, tools and training are included — and a 50-room hotel rarely produces enough incremental pricing upside to justify that cost. Outsourced hotel revenue management consulting covers the same scope from a mid four-figure monthly fee.

Mona-Marleen Krüger has built and rebuilt revenue management structures in hotels ranging from 25 to 280 rooms across four continents. RevenueRise deliberately works with a small number of hotels at a time — no scale-out logic, no junior team layered behind the scenes. Every hotel gets personal attention and direct access to Mona. The contract is monthly cancellable; a three-month minimum simply gives the setup time to take effect.

The model fits hotels in transition: ownership changes, refurbishments, brand relaunches, season pivots — or simply the point where your in-house team can no longer carry revenue management on the side. First measurable effects appear within four to eight weeks. Realistic results are 3 to 10 percent more RevPAR in the first year — our best client project reached 23 percent after four months — provided the data foundation is sound and hotel leadership commits to the necessary distribution decisions alongside us.

Just as important is the honest counter-question: when is outsourcing NOT the right model? Below roughly 15 rooms, the retainer often exceeds the incremental upside — a pricing tool like RoomPriceGenie plus a one-off strategy session is the better fit. Hotels with a well-functioning in-house revenue team need occasional coaching at most, not an external manager. And if all you want is price automation, an RMS serves you better than a consultancy. You get that assessment openly in the first consultation — even if it argues against working with us.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions.

How many hotels do you manage simultaneously?
I deliberately only take on as many hotels as I can manage personally and intensively. There is currently still capacity available — but limited.
Can we start with a smaller package?
Yes — start with the Potential Analysis and decide from there.
How quickly will we see results?
Initial effects are often visible within 4–8 weeks. Typical results are 3–10% more RevPAR in the first year — our best client project reached +23% RevPAR after four months.
When is RevenueRise not the right partner?
For properties below roughly 15 rooms, for hotels with an established in-house revenue team, or if you only need price automation — in those cases an RMS tool is the better and cheaper choice. We tell you that honestly in the first consultation. For the full trade-off, see our outsourcing vs. software comparison on the blog.
