How the calculator works.
Room revenue per year = number of rooms × 365 × occupancy × ADR. A 50-room hotel at 65% occupancy and an ADR of EUR / CHF 160 therefore generates around EUR / CHF 1,898,000 in room revenue per year.
Revenue potential = room revenue × 3–10%. That is the typical uplift from professional revenue management in the first year — in the example, EUR / CHF 57,000 to 190,000. Our best client project (Romantik Hotel Sternen, Kriegstetten) reached +23% RevPAR in four months.
Cost comparison: an in-house full-time role costs EUR / CHF 90,000–130,000 per year including payroll taxes, tools and training, and usually only pays off from around 120 rooms. An RMS costs EUR / CHF 2,400–7,200 per year but only automates price adjustment. Outsourced revenue management covers the full function from EUR / CHF 879 per month — all packages are listed transparently on the pricing page.

FAQ
Frequently asked cost questions.
What does revenue management cost for a hotel?
There are three models: an in-house revenue manager costs 90,000 to 130,000 EUR / CHF per year as a full-time role including payroll taxes, tools and training. A revenue management system (RMS) costs roughly 200 to 600 EUR / CHF per month depending on hotel size, i.e. 2,400 to 7,200 per year. Outsourced revenue management at RevenueRise starts from 879 EUR / CHF per month — with transparent packages and no commission model.
How do I calculate my hotel’s revenue potential?
The base formula: number of rooms × 365 days × occupancy × ADR = room revenue per year. Professional revenue management typically lifts this figure by 3 to 10 percent in the first year. Example: a 50-room hotel at 65% occupancy and an ADR of 160 generates around 1.9 million in room revenue — putting the potential at roughly 57,000 to 190,000 per year.
When does outsourcing pay off compared to a tool?
When the expected upside clearly exceeds the annual retainer and nobody in the house has daily time for pricing, distribution and forecasting. As a rule of thumb: from around 20 rooms and more than one guest segment. Below 15 rooms, or if you only need automation, an RMS is usually enough — we tell you that honestly in the first consultation.
